We are pleased to announce that Marygrove’s Master of Arts and Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Management program has been officially recognized for its alignment with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) requirements for HR degree programs.
Marygrove’s alignment with SHRM—which was founded in 1948 and is the world’s largest professional human resource association—is a critical partnership. Aligning itself with SHRM standards not only ensures that the HRM curriculum is consistent with industry practice, but also that graduates of the program are prepared to meet the demands of a rapidly-changing industry.
Because of Marygrove’s association with SHRM, students who complete their degree in HRM at Marygrove are also prepared to take the Assurance of Learning Assessment. This exam is the new universal benchmark for students who are completing an HR degree, but have little or limited experience in the field.
